An analogy to our mind is that what you are actively thinking about is equivalent to the screen (what is visible to you or your awareness). The processing is mostly beyond reach and is treated by most as sort of a black box.
What I do think that the "types of mungers" out there have acheived is analogous to that of meditators. He tries to be fully aware of all the flaws in his thinking, then to notice the more subtle sensations in the mind that triggers such things as FOMO. By paying attention this way, he and as is generally the case, has reconfigured the "subconscious" to operate in alignment with how he prefers to consciously think.
At this stage I believe Munger mostly just talks with little active reflection, he simply pay attention to what comes out to ensure its integrity is sound. Comprehensible and sensible?
A good high level article.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Your screen and black box analogy is thought provoking.
